Although Robert Frost's life was far from perfect, he was still an extraordinary person; his broad inspirations, themes, and figurative language have earned him numerous honors and awards, creating one of the greatest American poets known today. Robert Frost went through a tough time growing up, but he still managed to be a sensational person. On March 26, 1874, Frost was born to parents William Prescott Frost Jr. and Isabelle Moodie in the state capital of San Francisco. (Bober 2). Unfortunately, as Robert grew up, his parents lost their beautiful relationship because his father Gonzalez, Jones 2 became an alcoholic, which was absolutely unacceptable in Isabelle's eyes.(Bober 7). Dealing with his father's alcoholism was never easy for young Robert. This is precisely why he never talked about his father because it wasn't something he would like to share with others. (Bober 21). Unfortunately, his father died when Frost was only eleven years old, leading him and his family to move to Lawrence, Massachusetts with his grandparents. (Bober 20). Although his father's death had many negative effects when Robert moved to Massachusetts, his grandfather ensured that Frost received a meritorious education. He did so well in school that when he graduated from Lawrence High School, he...... middle of paper...... in 1961. (Bober 186). Although Robert Frost never officially graduated from a specific college due to his numerous jobs, he was honored with more than 40 honorary degrees from universities and colleges. (Bober 186). Robert Frost had a lot of devastation but had immense success. Unfortunately, after a visit to the doctor later on the night of January 29, 1963, Frost died in his sleep (Bober 187). His life was far from perfect but he was nonetheless an extraordinary person; his broad inspirations, themes, and figurative language have earned him numerous honors and awards, creating one of the greatest American poets known today. His use of metaphors, images and the form in which he wrote his poems allowed his readers to see the world for what it truly is in splendor. To see the world from a different perspective, Robert Frost is definitely something you should seek out.
