It is called the Culture Broker Project and is used to encourage the use of cultural brokerage in health care to increase access and improve the provision of truly culturally competent care (Goode, 2004). The NHSC recognizes the importance that cultural brokerage can have on the effective delivery of health care within the culturally diverse industry (Goode, 2004). The program aims to promote cultural brokering to help eliminate racial and ethnic disparities within health care settings (Goode, 2004). It also seeks to define what makes a good cultural broker and to provide advice and support to anyone interested in learning more about how to implement effective cultural brokerage (Goode,
