In America, the food is generally not as healthy as Chinese rice, but it depends on what you eat. There are hamburgers and fries accompanied by a large Coca-Cola in almost every restaurant in the United States. There are many different countries. United States customs vary. In most households, they are very forgiving and don't get out of shape if you don't do exactly what they do or eat all the food they have prepared for you. They might find it rude if you swallow your pasta or chew it with your mouth open. Unlike the United States, in China it is completely acceptable to gulp down noodles. This is even considered a compliment to the chef. Drinking is said to improve flavor. In China, pasta and rice are very popular and people eat them with chopsticks. Some people who live in China prefer a fork or spoon for certain dishes, but most like to use chopsticks for everything. In China, it is considered rude to eat all the food on your plate.
