By analyzing negative and positive behaviors using my own experiences and observations, I will describe the effects and impact they had on students and their learning outcomes. Reflecting on this process will help me analyze their response to different environmental and behavioral situations within the classroom. By developing strategies based on the three main learning theories, I will explain how to use these methods to manage learner behavior and influence the learning environment. By identifying the main features of current legislation and implementing my own organizational policies to manage learner behavior, I will give a brief description of how this impacts students and the learning environment highlighting the strengths and weaknesses and giving suggestions for improvement. When considering different strategies to improve and assist the learning environment within the classroom, Geoff Petty argued that "order in the classroom was created by a combination of four factors: effective lessons on a well-designed curriculum, good organizational skills, good teacher-student relationships and effective discipline (Perry 2009: 110)”. I will analyze how to create positive behavior using effective classroom management techniques to develop positive group pressure and healthy group dynamics reducing disruptive behavior. Using my experience, I will analyze the behavior and describe its effects and impact on learning and learner outcomes. The learners had completed the first year of this course and were interested in the subject. They arrived on time with the necessary equipment. The subject I taught was computer maintenance and networks. They were all adults and interested in the medium of paper...within legal safety limits.
