Essay / Plant Location Lab Essay - 1663
The hypothesis states that plants will grow faster under sunlight and their growth rate will increase. The data shows the growth of each plant and how temperature affects them. Photosynthesis, transpiration and respiration play a fundamental role in plant growth. However, there are problems with plant growth: lack of water, weak soil, and overwatering plants. Overwatering prevents plants from growing when the soil absorbs water too quickly and nutrients won't have time to absorb it quickly. Lack of light could also affect the growth of the plant which becomes slow and the plants do not flower. The solution would be to reduce the room temperature by 3 degrees Celsius and pour water less frequently. These growing problems are the reason why both groups included samples B and C (1st group) and samples A and B (2nd group) were not included.
