    The salary model and the life path model would be the ones that most resemble our family. Over the years, our family has changed. My father works a lot and is not home as much as my mother would like. My mother is involved in several local organizations volunteering throughout our community and works at a local gift shop. Before I could drive, my mother sometimes had to ask my grandparents to pick us up from school and different activities. Of course they didn't mind, they loved spending so much time with us. I think because of this it strengthened our relationship and made me realize how lucky I was to have them in my life. Without them, I wouldn't have been able to do many of the different activities I did as a child with my parents working and volunteering. My grandparents always help me decide what to do with my life. If my mother and I can't figure out how to do something, we'll ask my grandmother. The other day I was home for an engagement party and I had two different dresses that my mom and I couldn't choose between. I took both dresses to my grandparents' house, tried them both on and let them decide which one would be best for the occasion. It's the little things like this that show me how much of an influence they have on my life and
