    Strengths• Concept StoresThe company's new concept stores are designed around collaboration. These new concept stores are RadioShack reinvented. Interactive screens, a speaker wall, idea centers, new display configurations and different technologies that facilitate purchasing and encourage collaboration. The “Do It Together” idea center is part of the new campaign. Boston, Manhattan and Lynwood, California, are three of the places where concept stores have recently opened. Thirty other outlets have also been opened in the United States and more in Asia, including China and Malaysia. • International presence The opening of these concept stores will accompany at least 1,000 franchise stores that will be opened in Malaysia. The expansion in Malaysia is due to the agreement between RadioShack and Berjaya Retail Berhad in March 2012 (MarketLine, 2013). This will allow stores to be opened in ten Southeast Asian countries within the first ten years of the agreement. Emerging markets, such as urban cities in Southeast Asia, are driving growth in purchasing intentions and ownership of the latest technologies (Accenture, 2012). • Member of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) After serving as CEO of RadioShack for just one year, Mr. Magnacca was invited to speak at a Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) event. As part of the CEA, RadioShack has access to CEA events, market research, free employee training and business development opportunities.
