    Clotho did not survive the night. Jim walked out of the operating room and plopped down in a chair just outside. His gaze never stopped looking forward as Chandi rose from a chair on the other side of the door, looking at him with a sort of hopeful expectation. That hope was dashed the moment she saw his pale face. “Wh-What happened…?” » Chandi asked, already expecting the worst. “I… couldn’t save her. The wounds... they were inflicted by some kind of power I had never seen before. Every time I tried to close the wounds... It was as if this power was determined to kill her. Jim muttered in a slightly delirious tone. Without a word, Chandi took a deep breath and let it sit with her for a few seconds before exhaling. A flash of Angel power appeared in her mind for a second but she pushed it away. Now, with a clear mind, she slapped Jim across the face, snapping him out of his shocked state. "Thanks…" Jim muttered when he finally took off his mask. "Now that you have come to your senses, were you able to take samples of the power you mentioned?" Chandi questioned and Jim just nodded slightly. "My assistant is taking him to my main lab so I can perform an analysis on the composition of magic. It must have been a powerful curse to do something like that..." Jim almost continued to ramble at this point, trying to figure out not thinking about what he had seen. “Your assistant is directing him to your lab?!” You should take it yourself and find out everything you can!” said as Jim looked at her, shocked by her sudden outburst.
