FINISHED GOODS INVENTORYFinished goods refers to the number of cars manufactured that anticipate sales to the customer. These are products that have gone through the entire manufacturing process but have not yet been sold. These assets are recorded on the balance sheet as current assets. Finished goods inventory at the end of the previous accounting period is considered to be opening inventory plus the cost of goods purchased or manufactured and minus the cost of goods sold.2. RAW MATERIALS INVENTORYThis is the total cost of all components in the current stock that have not been used in work in progress or in the production of finished goods, i.e. it is items that have not yet been consumed in the production process. WORK IN PROGRESS INVENTORYThis is the cost of materials that have entered the production process, that is, have been partially converted with the work to be done to make a finished product. It is taken as a current asset in the balance sheet.4.
