Without an effective and efficient household waste management system, waste generated by households will have a negative impact on the environment and human health. Thus, waste generation, resource availability and environmental conditions must be understood when developing an appropriate household waste management system. Household waste can be defined as solid waste including trash and garbage, such as cans, bottles, clothes, food wrappers, newspapers, etc., from private houses or apartments.
