    In Austria, Adolf Hitler was the man responsible for the well-known “Holocaust” with his socialist party “Nazi Party”. It all began with Hitler's birth in 1889 in Austria, when he was an only child. He grew up wanting to be an artist and started painting, then applied to the Veina School of Art, then was rejected twice. After being rejected, he joined the German military forces and was wounded twice, once temporarily blinded in hospital. Adolf learned that Germany had surrendered in World War I (WWI) and was furious, believing they could have won. After leaving the hospital, he ordered an attack on the weak in Germany and was arrested shortly after. While in prison, Hitler wrote the best-selling book Mein Kampf, explaining why Germany was weakened by other people like Jews, Czechs, etc. This got him out of prison and he went into politics. After a while, he rose through the ranks to Chancellor of Germany and swore that when the dictator died there would be no leader.
