The objective of this report is to study and understand the business context issues related to the internationalization of food retailing. It has been attempted to critically analyze and evaluate the strategies adopted by world-class food retailers. Many companies have attempted to diversify into new geographies and ventured into new products and services in recent years. This helped them grow and expand their business. Through the UK based retail group Tesco, it was attempted to evaluate and monitor the business mission, objectives and policies of international organizations and also analyze how strategic decision making enables an organization to adapt to its global business environment. The basic data, models, theories, strategies and information included in this report have been collected from websites, blogs, books, articles and similar articles. The impact of globalization on business in the food retail supermarket sector and its performance were discussed. A detailed analysis of the current situation and the future food market has been carried out.
