    It can be a pretty scary time in people's lives. I can agree with this, during this stage of physical and cognitive development you are constantly stressed and have to make decisions (Rathus, 2015, p. 277). I have experienced some physical and cognitive development. Since I'm early in this development I can understand something with this but not everything. As an adult, emotional and social development is quite important at this stage. Move from a social environment at work to a social environment after work with friends. This is the time they tell you to go out and have fun. Get to know yourself and start separating yourself from your parents as parents. You are now an adult who must make your own decisions (Rathus, 2015, p. 289-290). I'm starting to experience these kinds of things, but since I'm still living at home it's hard to fully understand them. I admit that I have more freedoms, but I still have to adapt to a family schedule rather than worrying about myself. But that comes with going to a community college. I'm not up for raising a family, getting married, or starting to settle down
