    Today's technological society consists of mass media, instant communications and an endless multitude of entertainment. Video games are mainly described in the last category, entertainment. The game is enjoyed by all ages, whether a child in elementary school or a grown adult in their 40s. Video game genres range from drama to action to mystery to puzzle, and the list goes on, much like movies and novels. Margaret Rouse of Whatis.com defines gaming as "the execution of specialized applications known as electronic games, especially on machines designed for such programs." A person who engages in the video game industry is fundamentally a “gamer” (Rouse). However, the general public has a very skewed view of what gaming actually is; Instead of viewing video games as a form of entertainment available to everyone, the general public views video games as a distraction or, better yet, a waste of time. On the contrary, play can also be beneficial for the individual, as it can provide not only intellectual aspects, but also emotional and physical aspects. It is true that the game also fosters potentially negative aspects, but personally, I strongly believe that the benefits of the game outweigh the negative aspects perceived by the public. The history of video games dates back to the early 1970s, when the United States was under pressure from the problems associated with the Vietnam War, and this was also the period when people favored extravagant and extravagant clothing styles.
