    Unlike any other creature on Earth, humans have the unique ability to express their feelings through art and, through this, art has become an intrinsic part of human society. Art is a fairly broad term encompassing a vast category of creations that vary in meaning and form. However, we could ask the question: what is art for? The answers to this question can range from expressing creativity to expressing emotions. Others may offer a much more interesting answer. They can say that art is a tool; a tool capable of shaping the world, going against the status quo and challenging social norms and popular traditions of societies. Art could potentially take the form of resistance to a set of beliefs or an entire establishment itself. Whether or not this is effective is up for debate. History, however, shows that art is undoubtedly an effective means of rebelling against society's discriminatory ideals. The examples are almost endless. Art is so effective in bringing about change because of its rapid ability to disseminate ideas, can derive many different interpretations from them, and brings people together under a common mantra. In today's fast-paced technological world, simple ideas and entire manifestos can be sent out. a fraction of a second across the world. Before the invention of the Internet, the dissemination of ideas was mainly through speech and writing. The written word, which is art in itself, has been and continues to be a major method of bringing about change. Great thinkers like WEB DuBois published their ideas in order to describe their thoughts and feelings about contemporary issues and how they would solve the problems. DuBois' main goal was to attract disenfranchised African-Americans... middle of paper ... among many others, this is a trait that few things in this world have. This is a standard behind which many can rally to change a harmful and hateful ideology. It goes back to our primordial roots. Art is a concept and a human creation that dates back hundreds of thousands of years. At that time, he only influenced and led civilization.
