Essay / The Negative Effects of Social Media Addiction - 913
People at a vulnerable age, especially teenagers, are greatly affected by anything presented to them in a fanciful manner. At this age, they are attracted to anything flashy and anything that can make the news.3: Wrong messageThe negative aspects of society are highlighted in order to arouse people about them. For example, the negative effects of addiction are presented in advertising. Newspapers, television and the Internet are used to spread social messages. But unfortunately, sometimes the message is misunderstood. There is therefore a part positively influenced by the media while others get a bad message from it. The media influences them negatively. What is shown in order to “send a message” ends up becoming an attack on the bad, the ugly. The bad is exaggerated and the good goes unnoticed.4: NegativityTo some extent, the media is responsible for the development of negative feelings in those exposed to it. Early exposure to bold or violent films, book publications, and information depicting ugly social practices has a profound impact on young minds. If children are shown fight sequences, stunts, suicides and murders through books or films, they are recycled to leave a scar on these impressionable minds. The spread of this type of knowledge can influence anyone, at least on a subconscious level. Reality must be described, but not with such force that it can leave a lasting mark on people's minds.
