South Elgin is a small town police department that is a good learning environment even though there isn't a lot of crime serious in the region. However, most people who would intern in a small department like South Elgin will be shocked by the fact that things happen because people are human and make mistakes. There are criminals even in a small town like South Elgin. I learned that this can still be interesting in a small town of 21,000 inhabitants where crime is not as great as another.
