Einstein helped create the scientific world we all know today. He is one of the most famous scientists in the world. Additionally, you may know Albert Einstein as the man with the crazy hair or the man with the bicycle. Whatever you think of him, he will always be one of the smartest men in history. Albert Einstein changed American history forever. His father was Hermann Einstein and his mother was Pauline Einstein, both non-observant Jews. At the age of one, Albert Einstein and his family moved to Munich, Germany. In 1881, Albert's sister Maja was born. He attended a Catholic school for a few years, then moved to another school. Ever since Einstein was young, he enjoyed building mechanical objects, which was not unusual given that his father was an engineer. He didn't spend all his time building, however. Albert loved reading, playing the violin and listening to classical music. These were liberations of sorts for Einstein. This was because while studying, he felt like he was struggling in school due to his speech difficulties. In addition to his outings, he came across two objects that would change his life forever: a compass and a geometry book.
