Antony is friends with Caesar, but lies and says he is with the enemies to save his own life. But when he will be at Julius Caesar's funeral to speak. He basically tells or persuades the audience not to support Brutus. He is portrayed as a strong person to make the conspirators believe he is on their side, but at the funeral he changes his stance and tells the crowd not to respect the conspirators. This proves him strong and Brutus weak. BrutusBrutus is essentially portrayed as the tragic hero of the play. Brutus was a close friend of Julius Caesar.
