    When I encounter a new experience, meet a new person, or deal with the pressures of life, I play my fictional self and implode my thoughts and my feelings. Historically, this has never worked long term because it increases stress exponentially. Yet experiencing this defense mechanism for short periods of time may not be completely horrible as long as I acknowledge it and return to my honesty as soon as possible. Additionally, this implosion of perhaps misinterpreted and irrational thoughts and feelings can reach its maximum capacity and overwhelm those around me. Realizing this, I should continually look for ways to avoid this embarrassing situation.
