    2.1 Existence and ImportanceEmos have been around for a while. Although their importance in our society is very negligible, they seem to be a rising icon for today's youth. Or do they? Most young people immediately think “Emo” when they see someone with long hair or bangs. Well, that's not the case. Most people have a hard time differentiating Emos from Goths and Scenes, mainly because their appearances are similar. Although Emos have very little importance in our society, teenagers seem to like them a lot and therefore make them very influential. In some cases, they become really obsessed with being emo and end up harming themselves, such as cutting themselves, which is a very common misconception about emos, and fighting and can even lead to too much depression which they tend to have. commit suicide.3. History of Emo3.1 Emergence of the "Emotional Hardcores" The "Emotional Hardcores", commonly known as "Emos" or "Emocore", emerged from the "Hardcore Punk" movement of Washington, DC in the early 1980s. It began as a style of rock music generally characterized by melodic musicality and expressive, often confessional lyrics. In addition to music, emo often refers to musical artists, bands, fans, and describes related aspects of fashion, culture, and behavior. It emerged in society both as a reaction to increased violence within the scene and as an extension of the personal politics espoused by Ian MacKaye's "Minor Threat".
