  • Essay / What I Learned in Eighth Grade - 755

Throughout my college life, I have learned many essential lessons about being organized and treating others with respect. However, my 2013 eighth grade school year taught me the most important lesson of all: teamwork. Teamwork is the ability to get along with others, and it is the core element of being respectful to your peers and doing your part! At the beginning of my eighth grade, my teachers taught me that getting along well with others is a great way to succeed. They also mentioned, “To get to the top, you need to know someone to take you there!” » This memorable, life-changing quote made me think about the importance of teamwork, because without the method or ability to get along with others, you might struggle to achieve great achievements in the life. Therefore, I always come to think of this quote when I have problems with those around me, and even though working in a team can be difficult, I always find my strength and almighty power to help me. get out! I have improved phenomenally by showing good sportsmanship, and it has taught me a lot successfully. Although it may seem hard to believe, my university life has taught me to work better in a team in many ways. Initially, teamwork shows exemplary character and allows you to share the “star” with others. It is very important that your peers know that you are not an egoist and that they need to know that there is an intelligent, caring and understanding person in you. Humans need to see that you can share the spotlight and that it’s not just about you. For example, on a basketball team, one person cannot play all positions. That's why they say this meaningful quote: "There is no 'I' in team." I learned that some people ...... middle of paper ...... g I tried my best could achieve amazing results. I will always remember what my third grade teacher told me. Without this quote, I might not be the amazing student I am today. “If you choose to climb the mountain, don't stop until you reach the top, because that's where the best view is. » In conclusion, I learned to work better as a team in different ways. To begin with, I learned how to combine my strengths and how to communicate and work with other individuals. Second, teamwork has helped me become a successful leader. Last but not least, sportsmanship, just like teamwork, inspired me to put in more time and sweat to achieve incredible results. Brian Tracy once rightly said, “Teamwork is so important that it is virtually impossible for you to reach the peak of your abilities or make the money you want without becoming very good at it.”..”
