Savion Glover began getting involved in music and dance at a young age. He has worked hard to get to where he is currently in the dance industry. I believe Savion Glover was the best tap dancer in the world because Savion Glover is an African-American tap dancer, choreographer and also an actor. He was born in 1973 in Newark, New Jersey. As a child, Savion loved music and began taking drum lessons at the age of four. His mother had no choice but to let him do it because he kept lining up pots and pans and banging on them. He later began using his kitchen as a stage on Broadway and began dancing vigorously. At the age of seven, he began taking tap dancing lessons at the Broadway Dance Center in New York.
