“The unexamined life is not worth living” was uttered by Socrates himself, the statement has a unique impact. Furthermore, Socrates said, “to live life fully, one must analyze and explore the mind itself.” Socrates realized the importance his ancestors placed on the study of the substantial world and came to the conviction that to truly understand the nature of the world we must focus our attention on our soul. Observing our soul gives us the ability to not only accept ourselves more fully, but also to better accept our relationship within the universe. Analyzing our core values and the desires behind our actions in turn allows us to carefully examine the way we live our lives. Subsequently, for Socrates, remaining on the path of discovering truth, inquiry allows the mind to appreciate the invisible differences of life and causes mental and spiritual growth, leading to a productive existence and more significant. As for Socrates living the life of a philosopher, the quest for knowledge and wisdom makes life worth living. Thus, according to Socrates, having an unexamined life would be juxtaposed with a life that had no purpose or inherent value. the importance of the perpetual quest for wisdom through cooperation with others. Socrates concluded that focusing on a broader view of the world through knowledge of our souls was far more valuable than limiting ourselves to the study of anatomical aspects of the universe.
