  • Essay / My Personal Leadership: A Reflection of Leadership

Personal ethics provokes a plethora of thoughts in my mind: what do I think is right and what is wrong? Are my beliefs consistent with what society thinks and feels? Will my personal ethics help me get far in my career? As I continue to reflect and write down my thoughts, I am relieved and proud to say that my ethics list answers all the questions I have in the affirmative. With the help of the ethics game, I learned that reputation is my favorite goal. I define an ethical person as someone who possesses strong character traits and habits of thoughtful thinking. Those who demonstrate strong leadership in their role and encourage others to do the same exemplify ethical behavior. And what I value in others is a reflection of my own core values. I prioritize equality and sensitivity over autonomy and rationality and use my intuition to determine what character traits and virtues will best serve the individual.
