I think we put so much pressure on young women to have children that they don't even see an alternative, it's just a natural progression of the life. I felt like there were other topics to talk about like menstruation, birth control, rape, and adoption. I feel like many women don't know the pros and cons of birth control. Others don't fully understand what menstruation is and why it is an important factor in most women's lives. Adoption was never even mentioned during the egg freezing presentation. I understand that people have different ways of having children, but the problem might lie in telling women that the only right way to have a child is to give birth to a child. Once again, I learned a lot from this week's discussions and film. However, I felt like there were more health issues among women that weren't being addressed.
