Freud had a bad habit of pushing away people who did not have the same views and beliefs as him when it came to psychology. Freud later moved to England before World War II because it had become a dangerous place for Jewish people. He was diagnosed with cancer of the mouth and jaw twenty years before his death, which ultimately took his life in 1939 (Personality). In the novel Brave New World written by Aldous Huxley, Freud is a divine figure in society. Orthodox society revolves around two gods, Ford and Freud. He is considered a god because all members of society are conditioned to learn specific behaviors based on Freud's theories. Each behavior teaches them to like or dislike a particular activity or object.
