Essay / Personal Experience: The Power of a Print
Read the title above. What do you think? You should guess what this 8 page essay is about. Could it be the memory of a romantic experience between a man and a woman or what a blind person feels when he regains his sight? The theme doesn't really matter. The importance of including a title on the cover page is to create a vague confidence for readers. By simply glancing at the title, we can decide whether we want to continue reading or ignore the text altogether. That's the power of a print. It is not only used in literacy, but also in other means of communication such as speech and the arts. It's the nature of humans to make assumptions. We continue to judge other people, objects and events whose causes we know. It is not a question of whether our assumptions are right or wrong here, but we have been happy with the label given and taken it as truth. There is a danger if labeling is directed at oneself, as it often tends to be negative rather than positive. Have you ever had that dialogue with yourself: “I can't do this thing, therefore I'm not good at it.” Such a mark is destructive. If you assume you can't accomplish something until you actually try it, then you definitely can't do it because you're not going to pursue it. It is often the label that constitutes an obstacle to our success. Such negative assignments will automatically weaken our decisions because they were made before we analyzed the problem. Either way, reality is perceived through behavior that we had practiced from the earliest stages of our childhood lives, because we naturally act in accordance with our belief in something. I fell victim to these negative thoughts when I was in elementary school. Since my childhood... middle of paper ...... I was sitting with a few companions. This woman was carrying lime and gave him one as a gift. Muhammad accepts it willingly with a smile. The lime was eaten by the Prophet Muhammad. Usually, Mohammed would share anything with his friends, but not this time. Not even a lime segment was given to them. The prophet continues to eat the lime with a smile. Then the women returned home. The Prophet's friends were rather surprised by his attitude. They demanded an explanation. Muhammad explained that the lime tasted too sour. He was hesitant about one of his friends squinting while eating lime. Mohammed does not want the woman to be offended. That's why he ate everything by himself. He wants to appease her and ultimately the lady will not give him a bad impression. This personality of the Prophet Muhammad is what I want to emulate in myself..
