The first parameters that govern the transformation of the company are established through the organizational strategy. There are four main elements that establish business transformation. The mission statement, a vision statement, guiding principles and core values. During the process of transformational change, the impact of this change on the business must be analyzed. Organizational change management (OCM) should be used during transformation. The main goal of OCM is to keep employees informed and engaged during this process. OCM solves problematic situations that prevent change from happening. Stakeholder analyses, communications plans and training plans are the three common elements used by OCM. The next phase of the transformation process is the design of the future state. An implementation plan should also be developed.
