I believe that the United States and other countries need to raise awareness about this issue so that we can support these women to find the courage to stand up and fight for better rights. Although studies from the Huffington Post have shown that more women are in higher positions and that equality for women in the workplace has improved, women are still paid less than men who would occupy this position with the same qualifications. Women should be paid equally based on the quality of their performance rather than being discriminated against based on their gender. Hopefully these issues will be brought to light and no longer be a problem so women can get their
