    Discovery Clothing is a clothing retailer in Chicago. The store is more commonly referred to as Discovery, as displayed by the moniker outside the store. Discovery offers a huge selection of fashionable products – from clothing and shoes to jewelry and handbags – aimed at women of typically junior sizes. There are more than 25 Discovery Clothing Company locations, primarily in Chicago. I work on site in Berwyn, along with 27 other employees. On orientation day, all new employees are introduced to Discovery's standards of behavior, as listed in the official employee handbook. The company's employee structure forms a simple organizational framework. The organization is led by a manager in charge of all employees. Reporting to him is the store cashier who manages customer financing and payments. Cashiers must know the prices of different products as well as the price and work with the assistant store manager. The final level is the Sales Associate level which provides exceptional customer service to the company as well as teams of merchandisers. When I started working at the company, I identified with a group of very hard-working people called “the masters”. The term does not reflect the level of education of our group but our general culture and our way of doing things within the firm.
