Additionally, they have the freedom to express themselves, the freedom to worship as they wish, and the freedom to pursue “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Any citizen who is at least 18 years old and has not been convicted of a crime can vote. An ordinary citizen can vote to choose representatives who will run the government. The U.S. Constitution is the fundamental law of the United States.
