  • Essay / Traditional and Modern Family Composition - 2084

In today's generation, there are many forms of family composition that contribute to how a society defines family. There is the traditional family where there are heterosexual parents and biological children. There is also the modern family where there is a wider mix, extended relationships and children outside of marriage. In all forms of family composition, the family plays an important role with a function that will contribute to the balance of society. Looking in more detail at a smaller scale model of society, having a family is an important component of every individual's life. Awareness and availability of an early intervention program for divorced families will only work if it is properly advertised. Steps taken by divorced parents are crucial for children to recover. Joining early intervention programs or simply providing reassurance and support can change the negative effects on children. If this issue is not addressed properly, it creates a disorganized family followed by a negative sociological impact on society. Current and subsequent generations will have a different perception of marriage leading to a change in the direction of the social system. Divorced marriage should not be taken lightly as it not only affects the family but also the society..
