  • Essay / Aristotle's Theory of Character-Based Ethics - 704

For example, killing people, mistreating animals, stealing are all mistakes and bad habits arise from this behavior. In order to have good character, we must work on better habits and practice them throughout our lives. People need to behave well and do the right things in order to make better choices. There might be situations where bad behavior might be acceptable, as a Christian, certain things must weigh in on why an individual did or said what they did, and their morals are acceptable. The choices we make are on a personal level, they will determine how behavior will prevail over the situation. The individual will be responsible for his actions and it is his responsibility to make the right choice.ReferenceSelected Critiques of Aristole's Ethics. (nd).
