    A cohort is a group of people who are the same age or belong to the same age group. Baby boomers are those born between 1946 and 1964 after World War II. they are actually thought to represent two specific cohorts. The "leading edge" cohort is made up of those born between 1946 and 1954. People in this category were greatly affected by the Vietnam War, while the "back of the pack" cohort was "less involved in anti-war causes” (Morgan, Kunkel and Morgan, 2011, p. 273-274). until or at retirement age. “Baby boomers are seeking to retool themselves to adapt to the ever-changing job market and to expand their intellectual horizons” (Morgan, Kunkel, & Morgan, 2011, p. 289-290).
