    Young Goodman Brown automatically remembered his wife and instantly thought she was his. It could have been someone else's pink ribbon, but he thought it was faith. He then started to lose his faith, trust and support and started thinking about thousands of things. Young Goodman Brown began to believe that faith was influenced by the devil. He indicated by speaking to faith in his spirit to resist the devil, for if faith resisted, then his faith would continue to survive. Our mentalities often misinterpret things. Sometimes we believe something because of a misinterpretation which can often be true but also false.
