Emotional intelligence and reflective practice are integral to establishing a therapeutic relationship in nursing. Self-awareness in nursing refers to how radiant nurses understand themselves, their strengths, weaknesses, attitude and ethics in order to treat better. with their patients. Self-awareness includes self-review, as well as self-confidence. Self-regulation is expressed beyond emotion and reliability. In order for nurses to empathize with their patients and treat them with compassion, they must be self-aware. When nurses are self-aware, they are able to adapt and even change their attitudes and actions to understand how unusual people care for them, thereby improving the nurse-patient relationship. Nurses need to think carefully about whether they may be maintaining a dependency while caring for a client and whether the relationship interferes with meeting the client's needs. It is also essential to ensure that the provision of care to family and friends does not interfere with the care of other clients or the dynamics of the care group. Before reaching a conclusion, the nurse may wish to discuss the situation with colleagues and the employer. The therapeutic relationship is well defined as the process of interrelatedness, that focus on improving a patient's physical and emotional comfort. Nurses use therapeutic practices to provide support and evidence to patients. It may be necessary to use various techniques to achieve nursing goals when collaborating with a patient.
