A simple tweet or Facebook post is a far cry from the media my parents had access to many years ago. I have long been fascinated by the way media has developed around me and the role I play in its evolution. Digital media production not only excites me, but it also challenges my being, as I am only a minor part in an ever-changing media world. The evolution of media resulting from technologies and innovations that are modified, adapted and evolved every day brings a whole new level of relevance to the heart of the course. The many facets of technological media have changed the way we live, the way we communicate, and the way we interact as a society. Not only does this allow me to be creative in my digital design, but it also allows me to delve into theoretical surveys and research regarding the sociological impacts of media.
