The day I arrived in Canada was the most exciting day of my life. I reached YVR airport and saw many people from different cultures and countries. I collected my luggage and was allowed to go through immigration and as I walked out, I felt really happy, as I was about to start a new beginning of my life from there. I had to wait for my friends there. When we got out of the airport, it was pitch black outside and I can see lights around. The view outside from the car was very relaxing, which made me feel less tired from jet lag. I was so happy and excited on my first day in Canada. Another memory I would like to share is from my first day of college. My first day of college was orientation day. I got my student ID and met a lot of other students. The first day I made two friends and we exchanged numbers. I felt really happy to share my ideas and future goals with them. I went for coffee with my new friends. I used to feel a little shy, but as I talked to my friends and got to know them, I started to feel comfortable around them, which helped me to relax. My last but not least memory is of my first day on the job. I will never forget my first day on the job. That day I was really nervous and my manager was very strict for the first time. Since I work at Subway, I had to learn about different types of meats and bread. I met two other colleagues who were very helpful and supportive. They helped me remember and recognize things. I didn't feel the time had passed and the manager told me to come the next day. I was too scared and nervous, but as I've managed to adapt, I'm starting to feel better.
