IntroNowadays, many people are trying to understand the concept and practice of leadership. The notion of leadership is about ensuring influence in the school and managing change and organizational structure. There has recently been a gigantic amount of literature on school leadership. However, many people still misunderstand the concept of leadership. In order to learn the concept of leadership, people must do more than just read a few books or fantasize about the greatness of leaders. School leaders are those people, occupying various roles in the school, who provide direction and exercise influence to achieve the goals of schools (Leithwood & Riehl 2003). In this essay, school leadership will be explored through numerous scientific journals and publications in order to clarify the word school leadership as much as possible. Additionally, as Spillane (2005) asserted that leaders typically have interactions with others, the discussion in this essay focuses on human resource management, building a professional work team, and professional development strategies future in the field of school leadership and the relationship between these aspects. are considered essential for high quality education (Leithwood & Riehl 2003). Academic Leadership Professional leadership defined as the provision of direction, process, and coordination to members of an organization in order to achieve the organization's goals (Mastrangelo 2004). Leaders have the crucial role of guiding and influencing all members of the school community to act equally and appropriately and achieve educational goals.
