Culture is a very broad concept, including people's beliefs, values and lifestyles. It is an integrated model of human knowledge, beliefs and behaviors. It also involves the customary beliefs, social forms and material characteristics of a racial, religious or social group. All cultural interactions become market oriented. As soon as a culture no longer has market value, it is excluded. Traditional local cultures are therefore often neglected. The central argument of cultural imperialism refers to the idea that certain dominant cultures threaten to overwhelm other, more vulnerable ones. Cultural imperialism triggers further discussions about cultural expansion and invasion. It is also argued that cultural imperialism leads to the diffusion of Western values through cultural products produced by transnational corporations, thereby replacing other cultures. Tradition consists of a habit that is part of culture. Over time, members of society developed a set of traditions. These traditions are accepted by society. As people can inherit these habits from their ancestors, these habits can become traditional customs. Cultures are affected by the interests of dominant groups in societies, who seek to explain and validate their positions within particular structures. One way that groups achieve this is through building traditions and spreading them among the population. How is culture affected by Japan's interests through their diffusion among the population? Japan's cultural output, including sushi, instant food (noodles, Nissin), electronic products (Panasonic), computers (Fujitsu), cars (Toyota), is not weaker than the United States . Popular culture can be defined as the mass production of products based on the taste of the majority; it changes all the time, entertaining and commercial in nature. Mass media is owned and controlled by multinational corporations, which affects the economy, politics and people's mentality. Their goal is to persuade people around the world to accept the product. The prerequisite is that people from different countries accept the same culture (e.g. KFC, McDonald's, Nike, Levis). Conclusion The history of expansion has a variety of means, but the most effective is cultural production.
