  • Essay / Linear Induction Motor Speed Control - 2325

SummaryVVVF drives are used to control the speed of LIM, many industrial automations in the world such as train drives, automatic screen doors, moving walks, elevators and escalators, etc., varying the speed of the drive can save energy compared to other flow control techniques. This mid-term report has been prepared to detail how to design and build the LabVIEW simulation structure for speed control of a linear induction motor and explain the characteristics of V/F speed control for the induction motor obtains data by LabVIEW. The simulation design and construction has two parts, the first part is the simulation of LED indicator for motor speed recognition and part 2 is the simulation of V/F speed control of linear induction motor . Firstly, design a control function on the front panel of LabVIEW, it is used for a control system interface and displays the LED indicator for speed control of frequency variable. Second, create a block panel simulation module, whose function on the palette indicates the frequency calculations. After setting the frequency value by turning the “Frequency Variable” knob, the value will be sent to the logics used. It is a user-friendly human-machine interface design software.Table of ContentsIntroduction 3Literature Research 4Methods to Achieve Sustainability 4Proof of the Problem 4Benefits of Energy Saving 4Reference Design 5Technical Work 6I.
