The main episode of the plot takes place when the Hound kills Selden, the escaped convict, which leaves Sherlock and Watson without a suspect. The main plot conflict introducing the beginning of the climax occurs when Sherlock Holmes and Sir Henry Baskerville discover that Sir Henry has more family in Devonshire, Stapleton and Cecil. At first they don't know they are family, but they only find out towards the end of the story. The climax and climax of the plot begins when Holmes, Mortimer and Stapleton enter a mine to find evidence, but a cave in Holmes almost trapped him, which was probably intended. The outcome of the plot is when Holmes kills the dog just before trying to kill Sir Henry and they discover that it is just an ordinary dog wearing a mask. The end of the story is surprising because Sir Henry begins to fall in love with Cecil, but then he discovers that she hates him and that she is a descendant of Sir Hugo Baskerville, and that they are related. He also discovers that Cecil and Stapleton want to control Baskerville Hall, so they used the legend of killing the family's dogs so they can inherit the estate. The entire climax and main plot of this book is based around a dog that roams the halls of the Baskervilles, killing the name and causing much conflict and terror.
