They marketed light cigarettes as a healthier tobacco choice. Nonetheless, they refer to it as a first step to quitting smoking completely. The introduction of this new brand affected people disproportionately. Governments initially supported the idea of ​​the new brand because it was concerned with the health of individuals, but later they began to have doubts about it.
