  • Essay / roots versus wings - 1208

Do you want to live where you grew up, or do you want to move to realize a new desired life? Personally, I think that if I stay where I currently live my whole life, my future will not be as successful or enjoyable as it could be. Some people tend to feel permanently “stuck” in their hometown, which seems like a nightmare to them. They value the life lessons that come from change and, overall, new experiences. Many people seem to thrive on the stability of familiarity and refuse to leave their homes. A person's sense of identity is strongly rooted in familiar places, and childhood memories remain comfortably present as people grow up. Additionally, family relationships and bonds with friends tend to be intimate and restrictive. The continuity of the sun rising over the same mountain every morning, or shopping at the same neighborhood grocery store for years creates a subtle, but deeply emotional, backdrop to some people's lives. People feel trapped in their home simply because that's where they spent their early lives, unlike me. I definitely want to experience “city life”. I enjoy the excitement of change! I don't think there's anything to offer me a good life if I were to stay here. Where you live, in my opinion, plays an important role in your success and happiness. For example, farmers need to be in rural areas where they can have fields to plant their crops and be successful. Another example would be that business-related jobs would be more effective in larger cities with larger populations in order to keep businesses profitable. To be honest, I strongly believe that the majority of people's lives would be better if they moved far away...... middle of paper ...... this city movie shows you a dark world lit by bright buildings that stretch for miles. The view is beyond spectacular and it's one of the most adorable parts of the city, in my opinion. In conclusion, I firmly believe that the city is the best place to live! It provides everything anyone could ask for and more. It goes beyond just a place to live; it is a place of success and joy. I decided to move to the city after graduation to start my life. It's a perfect place to spend the rest of your life. Everyone wants to be successful and happy throughout their life, and they must do whatever it takes to achieve that. As you think about the lifestyle choices you will face in a few years, consider which of these two lifestyles seems more attractive to you.
