Despite decades of human rights awareness, immigrant older adults continue to be among the most misunderstood group of adults lacking the rights equivalent to healthy aging. They have relatively fewer opportunities to obtain social benefits, preferences and a support system to benefit from equal inclusion in Canadian aging.
