China is the best BRIC country for which GE can focus its investments. General Electric is a large conglomerate of companies spanning different industries. The industry giant is divided into 4 business units with GE Capital, GE Technology Infrastructure, GE Energy and NBC Universal. All of its business units, if spun off into its own company, would be on the Fortune 500. The company's products and services include aircraft engines, power generation, water treatment, security technologies , medical imaging, business and consumer financing, media content and industrial products. . GE serves customers in more than 100 countries and has manufacturing facilities in more than 40 countries around the world. On April 10, Forbes announced that General Electric was the world's largest company, displacing HSBC Holdings from the previous year. In fiscal 2008, before the sale of GE Appliance to its own company, its capital financing activities generated $67,008 million (37.1%) in revenue, technology infrastructure brought in $46,316 million. dollars (25.6%), energy infrastructure brought in $38,571 million (21.4%). NBC Universal brought in $16,969 million (9.4%), and consumer and industrial goods brought in $11,737 million (6.5%). General Electric will benefit the most from investments in China due to the results of the analysis of political, economic and social risks and benefits for each country.
