Basically, environmental enrichment is given to the tiger to combat stereotypical behavior in the enclosure (Szokalski, Litchfield & Foster, 2012). The tigers are given new foods and new items such as toys and balls. Additionally, zookeepers modified the tigers' food displays and eating habits to enrich them. Sometimes the new scent is diffused in the enclosure to stimulate the tigers. In addition, the increase in the size of the enclosures and their rotation constitutes an enrichment for the tigers. As a social animal, the interaction between them provides social enrichment in the enclosure. The zoo is linked to the veterinary service in order to keep the tigers healthy. The veterinary department usually comes to the zoo every day to treat animals suffering from illnesses or injuries. The Directorate of Veterinary Services (DVS) is responsible for taking care of product development, the livestock health service and the support service for the tigers in the enclosure.
