    From 1953 to 1977, Elvis Presley was known as "the King of Rock n' Roll." From his singing career to his acting career, he has had an influence on many people. He comes from a working-class family with little money. He was second in Forbes' list of highest-earning dead musicians behind Michael Jackson. Rumor has it that Elvis was kicked off the high school football team because he refused to cut his long hair. It still bothered his vision, so his coach told him that if he wanted to continue playing, he would have to stop it. When Elvis was little, he moved around a lot. Only two things in his life were stable: his family and music. He was bullied a lot as a child because he came from a very poor family. He dyed his hair black and wore it in an unusual style, which made him resemble a comic book character, Captain Marvel Jr. Having trouble at school, Elvis continued to surround himself with music. By high school his family had moved to Memphis Tennessee. Elvis had his own style of music and singing. He had taken everything he knew and combined it into his own different style. This style was so different from any other white person. By the time Elvis graduated from high school, he could sing many styles of music. He was best known for Rock n' Roll. Elvis quickly became a celebrity. High school and university students screamed and cheered and mobbed him backstage, tearing his clothes. As his popularity grew, Elvis realized he needed a manager, so he hired Tom Parker. Parker brought Elvis to mega-star level. Elvis began singing when he got his first guitar at the age of ten. Gospel music became a musical influence for him through his church, Assembly of God. At ten years old, Elvis was in the middle of a paper...no doctor would prescribe it. The drugs implicated in the overdose are: morphine, demerol, chlorpheniramine, placidyl, valium, codeine, ethinamate, quaaludes and barbiturate, an unknown drug. People also said that Diazepam, Amytal, Nembutal, Carbrital, Sinutab, Elavil, Avental and Valmid were found in his system when he died. Elvis was sitting on the toilet when he fell to the floor and lay in a puddle of his own vomit. His team panicked and immediately contacted an ambulance. Most of his health problems are attributable to the use and abuse of prescribed medications. Elvis suffered from allergic reactions to medications. Elvis' funeral was held on Graceland property. Although his middle name was written "Aron" on his birth certificate, his tombstone said "Aaron" because that's how he preferred to spell it...
