Going to college can be a lot harder than some people might expect. Especially a freshman entering the school year for the first time. Some complications may arise beyond simply completing all class work. There are many factors that can impact and pose a serious problem that a student may face at the start of their first year. Through my experience as a freshman, the complications I encountered when entering college were not having enough money, working, and not putting in enough effort . After high school, I decided to take a few years off from school because I wanted to get a job and save money. earn money. I knew I wouldn't be able to pay for all my classes and would still have money left over for my bills. After saving for about a year and a half, I applied to Riverside Community College. I also applied for financial assistance to see if it would improve my financial situation. As a freshman, I wanted to take all the units required to be a full-time student. I took four classes in the first semester and it was expensive to pay for all of those classes. Then I had to pay for my parking permit, just so I could have a place to park every day for school. I noticed that a lot of the money I had saved was almost gone. Then, after attending my classes during the first week of school, the teachers would tell us what materials the students would need for the classes. The book for each course cost between $150 and $300. All the teachers wanted the latest edition of the books needed for the lessons and these were more expensive. Taking four classes meant I needed four books, so I started to get stressed because I didn't know school would cost that much. All the money I had saved was gone right after the first week of school.
